The works by
Cornelius, with their
strong painterly
and colorful impact,
are
painted on the computer,
the medium chosen
by the artist to express
herself.
Though working with
digital media,
she does not make
use of automatic
filters and special effects:
those have nothing
to do with her
way
of working.
Cornelius remains
a painter in the most
traditional
sense and each one
of her works is
a
unique
and inimitable creation.
The canvas is the screen
and the painting
takes form little by
little
through the brush-strokes
on a tablet, with
the pressure sensitive
digital pen that
she
uses as
if it was a real
brush. Even with such
a technical
instrument she still
manages to express
the freshness and
immediacy of her own
universe.
The finished works
The digital paintings
are usually printed
as originals (an
original must not
be replicated
in more than 9
copies) and may reach
very
large
sizes, up to 59
inches and more. Some
of
the works are selected
for special editions,
multiples.
Each print process
is supervised by
the
artist
and signed.
Special
projects / Commission
work
These are paintings
done on the
basis of a briefing
by the client,
with a specific
theme
or content.
They are done
by Cornelius in harmony
with her
artistic vision
and creativity.
Each work is
an
original
and the use
of the painting
for promotional
and marketing
purposes (such
as posters,
calendars, gift-prints,
gadgets, panels
or
wine labels)
is exclusive for
the
commission
work,
which becomes
property
of the client.
In the case
of using
existing works for
reproduction
in various
situations
the rights
are given
only for
the arranged
use and otherwise
remain the
property
of Cornelius,
save for
different agreements
made with
the artist.

Oli digitali
Le opere di Cornelius,
dal forte impatto
pittorico e coloristico,
sono create al computer,
il mezzo scelto dall’artista
per esprimersi.
Sebbene lavori con
la tecnica digitale,
filtri ed altri effetti
speciali che il computer
può elaborare
in automatico non hanno
niente a che fare con
il suo modo di dipingere:
Cornelius resta una
pittrice nel significato
più classico
del termine e ogni
sua opera è una
creazione unica e inimitabile.
La tela è lo
schermo e l’opera
prende forma, pian
piano, grazie alle “pennellate” che
l’artista imprime
manualmente con una “penna
digitale” su
di un’apposita
tavoletta. Cornelius
usa la penna digitale
come se fosse un pennello
e ha il merito di riuscire
a trasmettere, con
un mezzo così “tecnologico”,
la freschezza e l’immediatezza
del suo mondo interiore.

Come si presentano
le opere
Gli “oli digitali” di
Cornelius normalmente
vengono stampati come
originali (viene cosiderato
originale un’opera
fino ad un numero di
9 copie) ad alta definizione
su carta, seta o altri
materiali e possono raggiungere
anche dimensioni di un
metro e mezzo per due.
Alcune opere vengono
edite in multipli a bassa
tiratura. Come per una
litografia, la stampa
di ogni opera viene supervisionata,
approvata e firmata dall’artista.
Progetti
Speciali / Opere su commissione
Con il temine Progetti
Speciali si intendono
le opere realizzate,
dietro richiesta del
committente, su un
tema specifico. Queste
opere vengono elaborate
da Linda Cornelius
in armonia con il suo
gusto artistico e la
sua creatività.
Ogni opera è un
UNICO e l’utilizzo
dell’immagine
appositamente creata
a fini promozionali
e di marketing (poster,
calendari, manifesti,
biglietti augurali,
stampe regalo, ecc.)
rimane ad uso esclusivo
del committente.
Nel caso di utilizzo
di opere esistenti
i diritti di riproduzione
vengono ceduti solo
per l’uso concordato
e rimangono di proprietà di
Linda Cornelius, salvo
diversi accordi.
